Type: Full time, permanent. Door-to-door based from home. 


Hours: 40 per week, usually Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required as local and national travel is a significant part of the role.


Salary: Circa £30,000 plus enhanced overtime with regular reviews


 

Overview

We are one of the largest independent distributors of commercial cleaning equipment in the UK, and we are looking for a superstar Equipment Trainer/ Demonstrator. Based in the Watford or Luton area, you will travel across the region in one of our company vehicles to showcase and train customers on our equipment.


Your Duties

  • Load and deliver equipment/products to customers regionally and nationally

  • Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections of equipment

  • Unload at site and prepare product for demonstration/training

  • Provide customers with training and demonstrations on the correct set-up, function and maintenance of their new equipment

  • Identify any problems with the correct functioning of equipment

  • Maintain excellent customer service

  • Promote Killis to existing and new customers

  • Any other duties appropriate to the role


You will guide and train our customers to use and maintain the most specialist domestic and commercial cleaning equipment the industry has to offer, including traditional, modern, innovative and robotic products. You will be a confident communicator, friendly and approachable, with high personal standards and a passion for learning and sharing that knowledge.


You will support our Sales and Service teams, fulfilling customer requests for demonstrations and aftercare training support.


Your Experience

We provide full training, but knowledge of domestic and commercial cleaning equipment or similar would be advantageous. Having a technical/mechanical mindset would also be an advantage. Previous experience of working in a demonstrations, hire, training, repairs environment would be beneficial but not essential

General Requirements


  • Methodical and well organised

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Good standard of IT, including use of Microsoft and related packages

  • Ability to work to and achieve performance indicators and outcomes

  • Full driving licence, comfortable driving Long Wheel Base Vans
